There may be times where an assignment requires more than just a written document. You may have to turn in more information, or perhaps a presentation. In cases like this, usually the professor will ask that you mail your assignment in to their office via the regular mail system. It is advised if you do this that you receive delivery confirmation, which can be obtained from the United States Postal Service. This way, you can verify that your assignment was delivered. Overall, taking courses online is not much different than going to class every day. Homework will still be assigned, and expected to be turned in on time. Your instructor will clarify all of the details of how to submit this information to them. Internet universities are becoming more up to date and are constantly developing new ways to get your information there more quickly and efficiently.
