Online Programs in K-12 Education
The years of study between kindergarten and our senior year in high school are particularly important. With a class in K-12 education, you will learn about the fundamentals used to teach this broad range of students. The most basic types of learning in these years include core coverage of English, science, history (also sometimes called social studies), physical education, mathematics, and foreign language. Other electives that are included in most K-12 educational curriculum include visual arts, technical education, athletics, performing arts (theater, music, etc), and publishing (things such as the school yearbook or newspaper), to name a few. A class in basic K-12 education teaches students about the various methods used in teaching these different ages, as well as what ages are typically grouped into what grades. A study in private and public schooling may also be included. Teaching kids within these ages can be a fulfilling and rewarding career.
