Medical Assistant from

The Medical Assistant program is geared towards allowing students to obtain entry-level positions in the medical field as office assistants. Graduates can find employment in clinics, hospitals, and doctors' offices. Students are trained in performing an EKG, preparing strips for evaluation, performing venipuncture, collecting specimens, and more. Additionally, students in this program will be taught how to perform CPR, First Aid, and simple lab tests (such as Urinalysis and Hematocrit). This program entails 720 clock hours for completion.
