Pharmacy Technician from

The Pharmacy Technician program is designed to help students obtain competencies and understanding that will allow them to be successful in entry-level pharmacy technician positions in hospitals. Students are taught how to identify and understand drug nomenclature, dosage forms, routes of administration, and abbreviations used in pharmacy. Additionally, students are taught how to identify medications by their trade and generic names, as well as understanding basic pharmacology. This program requires 760 clock hours for successful completion.
